An information technology (IT) solution that conforms to the Cloud Healthcare Appliance Real-Time Solution as a Service (CHARTSaaS) reference architecture enables mobile technology by including mobile device form factor configuration as an option in the design, development and deployment of every app. Thereby, the healthcare provider subject matter expert (SME) who implements the app does not have to have special knowledge of this highly technical mode of app deployment other than the knowledge that it is needed to fully satisfy the use case that is the subject of the app (e.g. — clinician notification of physiological data being monitored that exceeds specified thresholds).
